Jesus said, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me” (Mark 9:37). Children are important to God, and they’re important to us, too!

At Discovery, we offer classes during every worship service for children ages 1—12. There they learn about God and the Bible using curriculum especially designed for their age group.

Children ages 5—12 sit in during the worship service until they are excused, while toddlers ages 1—4 can be dropped off at the beginning of the worship service.

The following age—based classes are offered during every worship service at Discovery for children ages 1—12:

      • Explorers: children ages 1—4. This class is available for the entire service and is located in room 103. There is also an Infant’s Corner for parents taking care of infants ages 0—1 in the Explorers’ classroom.
      • Adventurers: children in Kindergarten—2nd Grade. Children are excused to go to this class after worship and is located in room 104-05.
      • Navigators: children in 3rd—6th grade. Children are excused to go to this class after worship and is located in room 106.
      • Youth Group: Teenagers (7th-12th graders) sit in the main worship service with their parents on Sundays. They are invited to attend our Wednesday night youth group every Wednesday 6:30—8:00 pm upstairs in room 203.

For the safety of your child, we require parents/caretakers to sign in their children at the Welcome Center upon their first visit to Discovery.  All children must wear labels printed at the Welcome Center or the DiscoveryKidz check-in center. This ensures that your children are safe and accounted for. Also, all of our children’s workers are required to have background checks in order to ensure that your child is in safe hands.

Please be considerate of our DiscoveryKidz teachers/volunteers and pick up your child promptly after service. Your child will not be dismissed from their classroom until you pick them up.

We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable atmosphere for your children to discover Christ, Community, and Mission!
